What to expect when you sign up with Science & Co
We walked Science & Co’s public signup flow in September 2026 to document the process — the steps, pricing transparency, and what’s required — before you commit. (We don’t create accounts, enter medical information, or check out; this is the observable funnel, not a prescribing outcome.)
- 1Nothing on the marketing site carries a price. The treatment pages say only 'Plans from as low as $2 a day' for semaglutide and '$4 a day' for tirzepatide, and an FAQ that has to be expanded reveals those are the 12-month tiers.
- 2The intake is a ten-step quiz. Step one asks your weight-loss goal.
- 3Step two calculates BMI from weight and height and prints a live verdict — ours read 'You're likely to be approved for medication' at BMI 33.4.
- 4Step three takes date of birth and sex assigned at birth.
- 5Step four is a long medical-conditions screen grouped into thyroid, digestive, blood-sugar and other categories, with a 'None of these apply to me' shortcut.
- 6Step five asks whether you have taken a GLP-1 before.
- 7Step six is the gate: first name, last name, email, phone and state, under the heading 'Last step before we show you what you're approved for.' The consent checkbox for marketing email and texts is already ticked.

- 9Step eight finally shows the plan table, with tabs for tirzepatide and semaglutide and four plan lengths each. We stopped before shipping and payment.
- This is the most price-opaque marketing site we have walked recently: across the homepage, the weight-loss hub and both treatment pages there is not one dollar figure outside a collapsed FAQ answer, and the two figures that do appear there are the 12-month prepay rates.
- The real numbers are good. Month-to-month is $89 for semaglutide and $139 for tirzepatide, against struck-through anchors of $129 and $199. The prepay tiers save real money — $79/mo and $125/mo at twelve months — but each is one upfront charge of $948 or $1,500.
- The billing FAQ on the plan screen states 'Monthly plans renew every 30 days', which works out to thirteen charges in a calendar year, not twelve. The site never says this in dollars.
- The marketing-consent checkbox on the contact step arrives pre-ticked; we unticked it and the funnel continued normally, so the opt-in is not required.
- The LegitScript badge on the homepage is served from the company's own Webflow CDN rather than from static.legitscript.com, and links to LegitScript's generic lookup form rather than a certification record.
- Trustpilot has removed the science.co profile with the message 'The business you're trying to find goes against our guidelines and is no longer visible on Trustpilot', while the semaglutide page carries a five-star '4.8 · 1,200+ member reviews' block with no source named.
- The footer's Facebook, Instagram and TikTok icons link to facebook.com, instagram.com and tiktok.com — the bare homepages, not company profiles.
