50 Stars Health: Livv's flat-rate GLP-1 plan under a new name
50 Stars Health is the new name of the telehealth service that used to be Livv. The old joinlivv.com address now forwards to 50starshealth.com, and the 50 Stars Health terms of service say the platform is run by LIVV Care LLC, doing business as 50 Stars Health. The core offer carried over: compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide at one flat monthly price that doesn't change with your dose, with the consultation, medication, supplies and shipping in that price.
How the pricing works
Many compounded GLP-1 programs charge more as your dose goes up. 50 Stars Health doesn't: its product pages say the same price applies at every dose, so the number you start on is the number you keep as you move to a maintenance dose. What changes the price is the plan length you pick.
Compounded semaglutide is $146 a month (starting dose) on the 1-month plan and drops to $124 a month on the 6-month plan, with a 3-month plan in between. Compounded tirzepatide costs more on every plan length. Each price covers the provider consultation, the medication, supplies, shipping and follow-ups, so there is no separate consult fee or shipping charge at checkout.
- Flat per-dose pricing: your bill doesn't climb as your dose goes up
- Everything bundled: consult, medication, supplies, shipping and follow-ups in one price
- Two molecules: compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide
- Longer plans cost less per month: the 6-month plan is the cheapest monthly rate, but it is billed for the longer term
Billing, cancellation and refunds
Read the billing terms before you pick a plan length. If you're prescribed treatment, the plan renews automatically and you're charged one day before each billing cycle starts. To stop a renewal you need to cancel at least two days before the next billing date, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. The policy says refunds are not typically offered, though the company may give a partial refund for medication that hasn't been dispensed. Prescription products can't be returned once shipped.
There is one upfront protection: you aren't charged unless a provider approves treatment. After that, the renewal date in your patient portal is the date to watch.
Where it's available
Livv never published a state list. 50 Stars Health does: its GLP-1s are available in 44 states plus Puerto Rico. It isn't offered in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Indiana, South Carolina or West Virginia, so check your state on the product page before you start an intake. If your state isn't covered, see our state-by-state guide to online GLP-1 providers.
The medications and how they reach you
The medications are compounded versions of the active ingredients in Ozempic and Wegovy (semaglutide) and Mounjaro and Zepbound (tirzepatide), prepared by US-licensed compounding pharmacies rather than the brand-name pens. That is how the all-in price stays well below brand list prices. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved finished products and aren't reviewed by the FDA the way a brand drug is, which is true of nearly every affordable compounded program. We found no FDA warning letter on file under either name. Once a provider approves your plan, the medication and injection supplies ship free, and the site says most patients receive them within 3 to 5 business days.
More than weight loss
50 Stars Health is a broader telehealth platform than Livv's site suggested. Alongside weight loss it lists longevity treatments such as NAD+, glutathione, metformin ER and sermorelin, plus hormone therapy, sexual health, hair growth and pain care. If you want one telehealth relationship for several goals, that breadth is useful. If you only want a GLP-1 prescription, the extra programs don't change the weight-loss offer.
Who should choose 50 Stars Health, and who should skip it
It suits someone who values a predictable bill over the lowest possible first month, especially if you expect to move up to a higher maintenance dose, which is where escalating-price programs get expensive. It also suits people who want weight loss and other care, like hormone or longevity treatment, from one service.
Shop around if the cheapest first month matters most to you, since some programs undercut its 1-month rate on the starting dose. Skip it if you live in a state outside its 44-state list. And if you're not sure you'll stay on treatment, start on the 1-month plan: refunds are not typically offered, so a 6-month plan only pays off if you use it.
Trust and support
The rename came with more disclosure, not less. 50 Stars Health publishes its state list, full billing and refund terms, and a support email and phone line, all things Livv kept private. Prescribers are US-licensed, and the platform says it works only with US-licensed compounding pharmacies. The site links to LegitScript's certification checker, so look the domain up on LegitScript before you sign up rather than relying on the link alone.
Bottom line
50 Stars Health is the same flat-price compounded GLP-1 program Livv offered, now with clearer terms. It's a fair choice if you want one all-in monthly bill that stays the same as your dose rises. It isn't the cheapest way to start compounded tirzepatide, and the auto-renewing plans with limited refunds mean you should pick your plan length carefully.
