Foundayo (orforglipron) — Eli Lilly's first oral GLP-1 for weight loss — was FDA-approved on April 1, 2026 and commercial dispensing started on April 6, 2026[1]. Four months into the rollout, the provider directory has grown substantially. This article tracks every US telehealth platform and pharmacy we have verified as a Foundayo channel as of August 2026, with pricing tiers checked directly from each provider's website. We update this list periodically.

Foundayo channels we have verified (as of August 2026)

Verification update. This article originally published one day after Foundayo's commercial launch (April 7, 2026), when LillyDirect was the only confirmed channel. Re-verified live in August 2026: Weight Watchers Med+, Ro, and Walgreens now have live, working Foundayo prescribing pathways on their own websites (confirmed by fetching each provider's current page directly), and CVS Caremark (the pharmacy-benefit manager, not the retail counter) removed its new-to-market formulary block on Foundayo effective June 1, 2026 — coverage still depends on individual plan sponsors electing it. NowPatient remains informational-only; its own site does not describe NowPatient as a Foundayo prescriber. Several smaller telehealth platforms have not been independently re-confirmed either way; verify directly before enrolling.

1. LillyDirect (manufacturer direct-pay)

  • What it is: Eli Lilly's own self-pay pharmacy channel. The same channel that dispenses Zepbound for direct-pay patients. LillyDirect is the actual dispensing pharmacy for every other Foundayo channel we have verified.
  • How to get it: Requires a valid US prescription from a licensed prescriber. LillyDirect does not write the prescription itself — you need a prescriber (PCP, telehealth, or one of the partner platforms below) to write it, then you fill it through LillyDirect.
  • Cash price: as low as $149/month for the lowest dose per Lilly's published LillyDirect pricing. Higher labeled doses are priced above that; the precise per-strength pricing tier should be confirmed directly on the LillyDirect product page at the time of fill[3].
  • With the Lilly Savings Card: $25/month for commercially insured patients (not Medicare or Medicaid)[6]. This is the cheapest legal path to a brand-name FDA-approved GLP-1 in 2026 by a wide margin.
  • Shipping: Direct to patient, all 50 states.

2. Weight Watchers Med+ (confirmed live)

  • What it is: The medication-management tier of Weight Watchers, which already prescribes injectable GLP-1s through its Sequence-acquired clinician network. Confirmed: WeightWatchers.com's own Foundayo page is live and states Foundayo is “now accessible through Weight Watchers Med+”[2]. Patients take a 5-minute quiz, meet a Med+ medical provider, and receive a treatment plan if Foundayo is appropriate; the drug itself still ships through LillyDirect or a partner pharmacy.
  • Pricing (verified directly on weightwatchers.com, August 2026): Med+ membership is billed separately from medication — promotional pricing has included $25 for the first month with a 6- or 12-month plan purchase. Foundayo self-pay drug cost is $149/month for the starting dose up to $299/month for higher doses[2], on top of the membership fee. Commercially insured patients can have Med+'s care team work directly with their insurer.

3. Ro (confirmed live)

  • What it is: Ro's telehealth weight-loss program. Confirmed: Ro's own Foundayo page is live, describing an online visit, provider review, and prescription “if eligible,” with cash-pay shipment in under a week[7].
  • Pricing (verified directly on ro.co, August 2026): Drug cost by dose: $149/mo (0.8 mg), $199/mo (2.5 mg), $299/mo (5.5 mg through 17.2 mg)[7] — plus a separate Ro Body membership fee (as low as $74/month prepaid annually).

4. Hims & Hers (confirmed live)

  • What it is: Hims & Hers' telehealth weight-loss program has a live, dedicated Foundayo product page[8]. Hims' Weight Loss Membership is priced separately from the medication ($39 for the first month, $149/month after, per Hims' own pricing), with drug pricing dependent on prescribed dose and eligibility.

5. Walgreens (confirmed live)

  • What it is: Walgreens now has a dedicated online-prescription pathway for Foundayo through its virtual-care weight-management program (confirmed by fetching Walgreens' own live Foundayo page, August 2026)[9] — an online evaluation leading to a prescription filled at a local Walgreens or by mail. This is a change since the April 2026 launch, when Walgreens had no visible Foundayo pathway.

6. CVS Caremark — pharmacy-benefit coverage, not a dispensing channel

  • CVS Caremark (the pharmacy-benefit manager, distinct from walking into a CVS retail counter) announced on May 28, 2026 that effective June 1, 2026 it would remove the “new-to-market” formulary block on Foundayo, “where approved for coverage by plans”[10]. This is not automatic coverage — plan sponsors that use CVS Caremark's template formularies still have to elect to cover Foundayo for their members. If you have CVS Caremark-administered insurance, ask your plan whether it has adopted the update.

7. Other telehealth platforms — status unclear

  • NowPatient: still not a confirmed Foundayo dispenser as of August 2026 — NowPatient's own published content on Foundayo is informational (describing LillyDirect and retail access), not a description of NowPatient itself prescribing or supplying the drug.
  • Henry Meds, Mochi Health, Calibrate, Found, Plushcare, and Noom Med have not been independently re-confirmed either way for Foundayo specifically as of this update — several of these platforms' general marketing references “GLP-1s including Foundayo” in broad provider round-ups, but we could not verify an actual live Foundayo prescribing pathway on each platform's own site at the time of this check. Ask your platform directly.

Where Foundayo availability is still unconfirmed (as of August 2026)

As of this update, we could not independently confirm a live Foundayo prescribing pathway — on the provider's own website — at:

  • Henry Meds
  • Mochi Health
  • Calibrate
  • Found
  • Plushcare
  • Noom Med
  • CVS MinuteClinic (retail walk-in visits, as distinct from CVS Caremark's PBM formulary update above)

This does not mean these providers do not carry Foundayo — some may prescribe it without a dedicated public marketing page, and general retail pharmacies (Walmart, Costco, Kroger, independent pharmacies) can typically special-order any FDA-approved brand-name drug even without a visible online catalog listing. We are reporting what we could and could not independently verify on each provider's own site, not a definitive negative. If you are a patient at one of these platforms, ask them directly.

How the dispensing chain actually works

Foundayo is a brand-name pharmaceutical manufactured by Eli Lilly. Unlike compounded GLP-1s (which are made by independent 503A compounding pharmacies), Foundayo is a single-source product. Every dispenser we have verified routes the actual fulfillment through LillyDirect Pharmacy. The variation between providers is in the layer ABOVE the dispensing — the clinician consult, the program wrap, the billing model:

  • LillyDirect alone — you bring your own prescriber, fill the prescription, done. Lowest overhead.
  • Weight Watchers Med+ — you get a Med+ clinician + the WW behavioral program, drug dispensed via LillyDirect, two separate bills.
  • Ro, Hims & Hers — same model: a platform clinician writes the prescription and charges a separate membership fee (Ro Body, Hims Weight Loss Membership), on top of the drug cost.
  • Walgreens — an online evaluation leads to a prescription filled at a local Walgreens store or by mail; Walgreens is itself a retail pharmacy, so this is closer to a traditional prescription workflow than the other telehealth platforms.
  • Other telehealth — same general model: their clinicians write the prescription, drug dispensed via LillyDirect (or a partner pharmacy).

The practical implication is that the drug itself is the same regardless of which channel you use. You are choosing between different clinical wraparounds and different program fees, not different drug supply chains.

How to find Foundayo if your platform doesn't list it yet

  1. Check if you have commercial insurance. If yes, the Lilly Savings Card path is by far the cheapest ($25/mo) and any prescriber can write the prescription. Get a Foundayo prescription from your PCP or any telehealth platform with general weight-loss prescribing capability, then fill it through LillyDirect using the savings card.
  2. If you do not have commercial insurance, the cash-pay path is LillyDirect direct, starting at $149/month for the lowest dose per Lilly's published pricing. Weight Watchers Med+, Ro, and Hims all now confirm Foundayo access, but each adds its own program/membership fee on top of the same $149-$299/month drug-cost tiers — the math favors going direct to LillyDirect unless you specifically want one of those platforms' clinical or behavioral program.
  3. Ask your existing telehealth platform directly. Many platforms can prescribe Foundayo before they update their public catalogs. Their support chat or clinician messaging is the fastest way to find out.
  4. Check your local pharmacy. Foundayo is a standard prescription drug, not a specialty injectable, so it should eventually be available at any retail pharmacy that fills brand-name prescriptions. Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Costco, and grocery store pharmacies are all candidates as the rollout matures.

What we will track in future updates

  • New telehealth platforms confirmed as Foundayo channels
  • Retail pharmacy availability (Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Costco)
  • Insurance coverage announcements (CVS Caremark removed its new-to-market block effective June 1, 2026; other PBMs' formulary decisions are still developing)
  • Medicaid and Medicare Part D coverage decisions
  • Pricing changes from Lilly (the savings card structure and cash-pay tiers may evolve)
  • State-by-state availability as some telehealth platforms phase rollout by state license

What this article is NOT

This is not a clinical recommendation or a sponsored provider list. We do not have a financial relationship with Eli Lilly, Weight Watchers, or any of the other providers listed. The provider information is sourced directly from each provider's public website on the publication date. Pricing and availability change frequently in the first weeks of any new drug launch — verify directly with the provider before signing up. This is an article about a real prescription drug; clinical decisions should always involve your prescribing clinician.

Bottom line

  • As of August 2026, Foundayo is dispensed through LillyDirect Pharmacy (Lilly's own self-pay channel) and, confirmed directly from each provider's own site, through Weight Watchers Med+, Ro, Hims & Hers, and Walgreens — a meaningful expansion from the single LillyDirect-only channel confirmed at launch in April 2026.
  • CVS Caremark, the pharmacy-benefit manager, removed its new-to-market formulary block on Foundayo effective June 1, 2026 — but coverage still depends on individual employer/plan-sponsor election, so check with your specific plan.
  • NowPatient is still not a confirmed Foundayo dispenser; its own published content is informational, not a description of NowPatient itself prescribing the drug.
  • Cash-pay pricing: as low as $149/month for the lowest dose across every confirmed channel, with higher labeled-dose tiers ($199-$349/month depending on dose and provider) priced above that — telehealth platforms add their own separate membership fee on top.
  • With commercial insurance and the Lilly Savings Card: $25/month — still the cheapest legal path to a brand-name FDA-approved GLP-1 in 2026.
  • Henry Meds, Mochi Health, Calibrate, Found, Plushcare, and Noom Med have not been independently re-confirmed as live Foundayo channels on their own sites as of this update — ask your platform directly.
