El veredicto
La tirzepatida es la molécula más potente para perder peso: SURMOUNT-5, el único ensayo cara a cara en obesidad, mostró -20.2% del peso corporal a las 72 semanas frente a -13.7% con semaglutida. El mecanismo dual GIP/GLP-1 de la tirzepatida también superó a la semaglutida en HbA1c y peso en SURPASS-2 (diabetes tipo 2). La semaglutida conserva la ventaja cardiovascular de SELECT, donde redujo MACE 20% en obesidad sin diabetes. Elige tirzepatida por magnitud, semaglutida por reducción comprobada del riesgo CV.
